Welcome to Haunted House Startup the one stop spot for all things haunt related. We will cover everything involved in starting a home haunt to a professional haunt on this site. From market research to business plans and haunt construction it will all find a home here. I started this after spending 4 years going to college for business and the past 5 years running a home haunt that is expanding into a warehouse location and becoming a professional haunt. I joined the Haunted House Association in its initial year and will be continuing to be a member of this association as it is doing wonderful things for the industry and brings a wealth of information to haunt entrepreneurs. I have worked business plans from start to finish for a variety of businesses from wrestling promotions to travel operations and recently a solar contractor and solar training business. The wealth of information you gain into a business and industry from doing the research involved in creating a business plan will set you on a path to success. There will be all sorts of bumps and road blocks on this journey but for those who stick it out and ride the rough patches great success and loads of fun will be the end result and hopefully the new addition of many new haunts.
